A few of our favorite things
We aren’t gonna lie…there isn’t much we don’t love to eat our delicious pimento cheese on these days.
And with porch season fast approaching, we thought we would send you a few ideas of the best vehicle for that cheese to get into your mouth. Whether you are using it for your next backyard bonfire or happy hour with the gals, these are all winners.
CRACKERS - We love a cracker for the cheese. But one that has some personality and can stand up to the substance of our cheese. These Firehook Crackers from Amazon are some of our favorites. If you want traditional Ritz, Triscuits, or even a good Breton Cracker will always be a good find.
TOASTED BAGUETTE - you can get a baguette from almost any grocery these days. Slice it up and slide it under the broiler with a little olive oil and topped with Big Daddy’s Pimento Cheese is just about the best thing I can think of right now. Our favorite secret: The Stecca Bread from Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery is our go to these days
VEGGIE PLATTER - I am a fan of a veggie platter at a party. Usually when we are chowing down on chili, chips and all the other stuff, there’s something refreshing and delicious about a fresh tray of veggies. So mix it up and add more than ranch or hummus. Add a little surprise dip on the side of Big Daddy’s Pimento Cheese and watch those veggies disappear at your next party.
CHIPS - There are so many good chip dips out there. But pimento cheese often gets overlooked. Just make sure your chip has a little backbone so it can support all the curves Big Daddy’s Pimento Cheese has to offer. Try it on a hefty kettle chip or corn chip and thank us later.
